We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at shop@camiblu.com. If your return is accepted and you are located within the US, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
For international returns, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at shop@camiblu.com.
Please note that your original shipping fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the refundable amount.
MATERIALS & CARE
Not at all! Gold-filled jewelry uses an entirely different manufacturing process, making it a lot more resistant to tarnishing or fading compared to modern plated or "dipped" metals. That's what makes it a great budget-friendly alternative to solid gold.
Gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of solid carat gold that is then permanently bonded to a core metal (usually jeweler's brass) using extreme heat and pressure, whereas gold-plated jewelry has a much thinner layer of gold that is bonded to the core metal using only an electric current.
This means gold-plated jewelry requires a lot more care and attention as it will fade and tarnish faster compared to gold-filled jewelry that can last a lifetime with minimal care.
No! With proper care, gold-filled jewelry can maintain it's golden shine for a lifetime!
No! Gold-filled jewelry wears just like solid gold as long as its core metal doesn't become exposed. This can only happen when the jewelry is badly scratched or otherwise damaged.
As long as you don't use any harsh soaps you can safely shower with gold-filled or sterling silver jewelry.
However, if the jewelry also has pearls or other natural gems on it we recommend taking it off before showering.
We generally recommend avoiding wearing any jewelry in hot tubs, pools, or the ocean as it will cause it to dull and lose its shine.
